Rosemary Plums
This is such a light, cool, delicious little dessert. It is sweet, tart, woodsy and has just a
hint of vanilla.
It really needs to be eaten on a blanket with trees
overhead. OR out on the porch with
twinkly lights on a summer evening. But
let me just say that it was delicious in my kitchen as my son napped and I took
a quiet moment to myself. So really, I
think you can eat it anywhere and anytime and maybe just close your eyes and
imagine that you’re in the perfect setting.
I started with white wine and honey
Added some lemon juice
Then a sprig of rosemary and touch of vanilla bean paste.
I poured this syrup over chopped plums and let me tell you…
…it was good to the last smidgen. ;)
Plums in Rosemary Syrup
2 tsp honey
¼ cup of wine
Juice of half a lemon
¼ tsp vanilla bean paste
1 sprig of rosemary (finely chopped)
2 plums
Blend the first 5 ingredients together and let the flavors
mingle together (can be 5 minutes or hours).
Pour over chopped plums and
enjoy!
