Orange Blossom Perfume/Body Oil

I love my coconut oil like any good essential oil-toting, tree-hugging, homeopathic-remedy-nut.  However...it just wasn't cutting it for my face.  I needed something more moisturizing.  So, I went to my pantry and pulled out another oil - avocado.  I am IN LOVE.  It is so creamy and rich and my skin just drinks it up.

It really doesn't need any other addition, but I threw in a few essential oils and now I have the best smelling perfume/body oil.

I just dump the oil in a little glass container, and then drop in my essential oils.  I make small batches for a couple of reasons.  A) I have a three year old that I share a bathroom with.  I would be so sad if a giant batch of oil was spilled.  B) I like having the option of switching up my scents every couple of weeks.  Although, in all honesty, this one has been around for a couple of months and I am nowhere near tired of it.

1/4 cup of avocado oil
5-7 drops of orange essential oil
3-4 drops of ylang ylang essential oil
2 drops of frankincense essential oil

Citrus smells are very uplifting, can induce relaxation and are thought to boost the immune system and reduce depression. Ylang Ylang is supposed to combat anger, low self-esteem, increase focus and restore confidence.  Frankincense is believed to improve your attitude and uplift your spirits.

I just love this fragrance, and hope you do too! What are YOUR favorite essential oil blends?!
