Roasted Peaches

I mean really, what more do you need to know? Roasted. Peaches.  YUM.  This recipe was inspired by another favorite childhood book The Maggie B.  The Maggie B. is a delightful story about a girl who has an adventure on a ship – with her little brother James for company. 





For dessert, Maggie makes peaches, which they consume with warm goat’s milk.  



Here is my take on Maggie’s peaches.  

First, pick out your peaches.  Aren’t they just gorgeous?? I can’t even handle that color. 




Next, slice them in two and take out the pit.



Drizzle with raw honey and sprinkle with cinnamon. 



Roast for about 30-45 minutes.

I personally added some sour cream sweetened with maple syrup on top, but they really don’t need it.
