Ningxia Cocktail

I love a good cocktail.  I especially am loving the handcrafted cocktail craze and thoroughly enjoy trying new and different flavor combinations. I love fresh and fruity and herbal cocktails made with fresh juice and real herbs.  Which leads me to my latest recipe to share with you: the Ningxia Cocktail!

My dad created this cocktail when his dr. recommended that he drink a little bit of liquor a day to help keep his veins clean and free of buildup.  This cocktail combines the bit of liquor with the blood-sugar leveling ningxia, the vitamin c packed lemon and grapefruit and just a touch of stevia to sweeten the delicious nectar.  It's delicious AND nutrient packed.  Plus, it's gorgeous. 

So, here's what you need: 
1 shot of Gin
1 shot of Ninxia Red (or pomegranate juice)
Juice from 1 lemon 
Juice from 1/2 grapefruit 
Liquid Stevia (sweeten to taste - I use about 6-8 drops)



Combine in your favorite glass and enjoy!
